Blooming into Being: The Spring Equinox
Welcome to the Season of Renewal and the Earth's New Year, Friends!
The gateway of turn of the wheel is Vernal/Spring Equinox and the movement of the sun into the first sign of Aries.
This is a time of inspiration, initiation, renewal, rebirth. A time of feeling what is awakening and coming alive for you, coming alive as your life.
This time of the life force energy that’s been asleep in the roots as it begins to release and uncoil, unfurl upwards to emerge from the dark soil into form, into the light.
This is a time of creativity and celebration of lengthening light, vitality, harmony, and returning warmth.
Asking the questions, “who am I now? What’s coming alive within? What seeds want to be planted? What is ready to burst into life?”
A time of honoring new growth, new beginnings, deepening, remembering, initiating this ancient ageless way of being.
A time of harnessing the vitality rushing forth.
We stretch ourselves to grow forth.

Ostara Ritual
Egg Limpia
Primarily a cleansing practice from Latin America, egg limpia, or cleansing energy with the fertile magic of the egg, is found in multiple cultural lineages across the globe. The egg draws unhelpful/unsupportive/heavy/dark energies from the energetic bodies. It is believed the egg is a capsule that can draw out and absorb negative energies from the body and aura.
I have engaged this practice in its simplicity of working with an egg in the moment of feeling called to cleanse as well as sitting deeply with one egg, painting it, decorating it with inspired design and worked with the same egg over a period of time around a specific intention.
Egg Limpia can be practiced by someone steeped in the lineage and practice, as well as offering it to yourself.
Choose a fresh room temperature egg
Pray over the egg and set intention for this ritual cleansing. Hold the egg at your heart and infuse your prayers, your requests, your intentions with the egg.
Rub the egg in circular motion all over the body, or another persons if you’re offering it, starting at the top of the head and going all the way down to the soles of the feet and toes. Moving in a counter clockwise direction supports removal/extractions.
Continue to connect with Ancestors, Wise & Loving Guides, Supportive Allies as you move through this process
Notice the egg pulling heavy dense energies, notice feeling lighter and anything else you’re aware of
Offer the egg back to the Earth, extending gratitude - from a Peruvian healer, I was taught to open the egg (be mindful not to touch the liquids) into a hole in the Earth or to throw it into moving water in such a way that it cracks open into the water and is washed away.
I have also seen and heard of cracking the egg into a glass to read as a divination the results!
